This work examines the loop of consumption in social-media relationships. A light fingertip CLICK produces connection, yet the crowd gradually hardens into an exclusive CLIQUE. I render these supposedly “clean” digital bonds as a visceral image of flesh-like adhesion, and I aim to suggest the suffocating pressure that can come with excessive solidarity. Even so, the repeated word FADE in the background points to an inevitable end: these ties are scrolled past and systematically reduced to forgettable noise. A casual click, intimate entanglement, and eventual erasure. This piece presents the grotesque beauty found in the contradiction between the superficial consumption of connection and its heavy, bodily weight.
