1973年生まれ。名古屋・東京の制作会社を経て、インターブランド・ジャパンでの経験を持つ。2016年、PENETRATEを設立。公益社団法人日本グラフィックデザイン協会（JAGDA）会員。
グラフィックデザインは、ブランドと社会を円滑に結びつける「コミュニケーションのエンジンオイル」だと考えています。
一方で、実験作品では、意味やメッセージを過剰に求める時代に、あえて「語らない」構造を描きます。
既製の画像や文字を反復し、「構造と崩壊」「秩序とノイズ」「意味の剥奪と再構築」を探る行為は、広告でも装飾でもない——“見る”という行為そのものを再起動させる、静かな“反デザイン”の実践です。実務と実験、二つの軸がデザインの可能性を問い続けるための原動力となっています。

Born in 1973, Imaeda built his career at agencies in Nagoya and Tokyo before joining Interbrand Japan. In 2016, he founded his own studio, PENETRATE. He is a member of JAGDA (Japan Graphic Designers Association).
I see graphic design as the “engine oil” that keeps communication between brands and society running smoothly.
In contrast, my experimental works depict structures that deliberately “say nothing” in an age obsessed with meaning.
By repeating found images and typography, I explore the boundaries between structure and collapse, order and noise, erasure and reconstruction.
These works are neither advertisement nor decoration—they are quiet acts of “anti-design” that reboot the act of seeing itself.
The coexistence of practice and experimentation serves as the driving force behind my ongoing pursuit of what design can be.
