多くの「いいね」によって満たされるほど、かたちは少しずつ変化していきます。他者の視線によって形づくられるうちに、それは自分自身を見失い、曲がり、適応し、歪んでいきます。身を守るために、棘を生やします。身を守るために、攻撃的な存在へと変わっていきます。その過程で傷つき、色を失い、自我を失い、やがて白く漂白されていきます。これは変身ではありません。消耗です。
Fed by likes from the many, the form begins to shift. Shaped by others, it loses sight of itself — curving, adapting, bending. In defense, it grows spines. In defense, it becomes hostile. Wounded in the process, it drains — of color, of self — bleaching into white. This is not transformation. This is exhaustion.
